United Opposition of Georgia to Hold Demonstration on Par with Newly Elected President’s Inauguration

Georgia, Tbilisi, 17 January /corr. Trend N.Kirskhalia / The United Opposition of Georgia will hold demonstration on a par with the inauguration of newly elected President of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili, on 20 January at 14:00a.m. The leader of Way of Georgia Party, Salmoe Zurabishvili, said on behalf of the United Opposition on 17 January in front of Georgian Parliament that they call population to join the demonstration.

Mikhail Saakashvili's inauguration will take place in front of Georgian Parliament. Later a parade of the Georgian Armed Forces will take place.

"We do not recognize Mikhail Saakashvili as the legitimate President of Georgia and will protest against his confirmation. The parade will be accepted by majority of population s provocation," Zurabishvili. She said that the opposition will fight for the transfer of the votes and conduct of the second turn of the presidential elections.
