Georgia, Tbilisi / corr. Trend N. Kitrskhalia/ Giorgi Papuashvili, the chairman of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, left for Strasbourg on 24 January at the invitation of the European Court on Human Rights. Giorgi Papauashvili will hold meeting with Jan Pole Costa, the chairman of the European Court and other members of the Court, the press service of the Constitutional Court said.
Constitutional Court Chairman will also meet with Philip Boire, the head of the Council of the Europe Department for Human Rights and Law Issues and Jan Lui Loran, the head of the Council of the Europe Department for Political Affairs and Jani Bukikio, the secretary of the Venice Commission.
The meetings to be held will focus on the cooperation between Constitutional Court of Georgia and European Court on Human Rights and other institutions of the Council of the Europe.
