Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / The next round of negotiations in connection with joining the WTO, will be held in Geneva. Lado Gurgenidze, the Georgian Prime Minster, stated in his interview to journalists that the project has been submitted by the Russia, from the first point of view to incline the parts for constructive negotiations.
The negotiations on joining Russia to WTO, between Georgia and Russia have been in continuation for the several years. Georgian's key demands are to open the Customs-Control Centers on the Georgian-Russian border, which is not controlled by Georgian officially. The issue is Roksk tunnel and Psou River. Furthermore, Georgia demands the improvement of trade relations between the countries. The Georgian President Michael Saakashvili stated that Russia is prepared to re-consider the demands of Georgia.
