The issue of South Ossetia and Abkhazia must be settled by International Commonwealth and UN. Deputy White House Press Secretary Tony Fratto declared about this, reported PNA.
"The status of these two Georgian regions is not a matter, which should be resolved by one country", mentioned Fratto.
According to him, President Bush has declared once more that South Ossetia and Abkhazia are the regions of Georgia.
Fratto declared that the status of mentioned regions must be defined by the residents of the both regions, Georgians and by UN as well.
