Britain is ready to continue to provide assistance to Georgia, the UK Foreign Minister David Milliband told reporters during his meeting on Saturday with President Mikhail Saakashvili in Munich.
Milliband reported that the meeting focused on the situation in the Caucasus region.
"We discussed issues relating to the continuation of assistance to Georgia in the economic, political and social spheres, as well as to verify the basic principles of our relations", - said the minister.
Yesterday Saakashvili met in Munich with NATO Jaap de Hoop Scheffer and EU High Representative for Foreign Policy Javier Solana.
Meanwhile, the President of Georgia met in Munich with U.S. Vice-President Joseph Baydenom.
