U.S. Department of State: Georgia actively combats human trafficking

Georgia is among the countries, which actively combat human trafficking, said in the U.S. State Department's regular report on the situation on the combat human trafficking worldwide.

"In recent years, Georgia actively combats human trafficking, for which additional funds have been allocated. Also funds for victims of human trafficking has been established, which will contribute to their civil integration," the U.S. State Department's report says.

Authors of the report also provided recommendations to Georgia in connection with the continuation of the investigation of the facts of human trafficking and increasing activities of the funds in this direction.
