Today, 108 tourists from Egypt returned to Tbilisi from the Sharm el-Sheikh resort.

As the arrivals stated, the resort was quiet except for one incident on Friday when looters entered the Old Town. However, in general, the situation in Egypt is tense and causes concern, they noted.

The tourists complained that their planned trips to Cairo and other Egyptian cities had been canceled due to unrest in the country.

The Airzena airline stated that flights to Egypt have not been canceled. On Monday, 20 of an initially planned 80 tourists left for the resort from Georgia.

Airzena is ready to send extra flights to Egypt if the Georgian authorities decide to evacuate its citizens from the country.
