The issue of three Georgians detained by Ossetia will be discussed at today's meeting in the village Dvani, in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone, Georgian Foreign Ministry's Analytical Department Head Shota Utiashvili told Trend.
" We do not have new information on the detention of the Bzarashvili brothers and their uncle. We will consider this issue at a meeting," he said.
The regular meeting under the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism will be held in Dvani. Representatives of Russia , Georgia, Tskhinvali, the OSCE, and the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia will attend the meeting.
Among those detained were 21- year-old Shota Bzarashvili, 23-year-old Giga Bzarashvili, and their uncle, 33-year-old Elizbar Bzarashvili. They were held by the Ossetian side on territory adjacent to the administrative border on Aug. 22. According to Ossetian human rights advocates, detainees are being held in Tskhinvali prison. They will stand before court for "violations of the state border."
