OSCE chairman: Georgia deserves strong signal on its integration into NATO

Georgia deserves a "very strong signal" on its integration into NATO at the alliance's summit in Chicago in May 2012, OSCE Chairman, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis said in Tbilisi at a press conference today.
"Georgia deserves a very strong signal on its integration into NATO at the summit," he said.
The OSCE chairman said taking into account the democratic and military reforms in Georgia, the share of financing of military development in the GDP, as well as its significant participation in peacekeeping operation in Afghanistan (ISAF), Georgia deserves a signal at the NATO summit.
