In his next statement, Ivanishvili pointed to the parties with whom he does not intend to cooperate.
"I will not be able to work with pseudo-opposition parties, who are in collusion with the authorities and act according to their instructions and directions. I think that pseudo-opposition parties are the most devastating and hindering aspects of the democratic development of the country.
"In fact, President Saakashvili's authority rests on these pseudo-opposition forces. They make a split and confusion in any activity of the opposition forces. I will not be able to cooperate with the Christian Democrats, Labour Party, "New Right", "NDP", "Georgian party", or Tortladze's and Davitaia's parties".
He also stated that the political activity of Christian Democrat leader Giorgi Targamadze contains a number of dubious facts.
However, Ivanishvili said he would cooperate with a number of opposition parties, including the Republicans and "Free Democrats".
"First and foremost I want to say the Republican Party is one of the most experienced," he said. "It has a rich biography, intellectual resources and clearly distinguished political leaders.
"A list of my future partners will be more accurate soon," he said.
