Georgian FM, ambassadors discuss cooperation under Eastern Partnership

First Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Nikoloz Vashakidze met with Czech Ambassador Ivan Jestrab, Polish Ambassador Ursula Doroshevska, Swedish Ambassador Diana Yanse, and German Ambassador Heike Gabriel.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the cooperation within the framework of the Eastern Partnership, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Trend.

Ambassadors of the four EU member-states have submitted a joint paper - offers on the road map "Eastern Partnership" until 2013.

Vashakidze familiarized the ambassadors with the position of Georgia in connection with a road map on priority areas of EU-Georgia relations.

The European External Action Service of the EU and the European Commission will develop a road map for the "Eastern Partnership" through consultation with the countries of "Eastern Partnership". This map will reflect the necessary instruments and actions, and monitoring way of their implementation until the second half of 2013.
