Georgia is developing very quickly and is a modern country which rightly asks for further rapprochement with the EU, German deputy foreign minister Cornelia Pieper, who is on a visit to Georgia said in an interview with Rustavi 2 TV channel.
She said after a short period of time the German Foreign Minister will visit Georgia and he has good reason.
"This year, together with Georgia, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations. We have many educational and cultural projects. A German school operates in Tbilisi which is to be expanded. Cooperation in the cultural sphere is also important. In addition, there are many more personal relations between the two governments, which is very important because a good future can be built on it," Pieper said.
