The Georgian Ministry of Justice has registered the opposition party 'Georgia's dream - democratic Georgia', established by billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili, the party told Trend today.
The leader of the opposition coalition 'Georgia Dream', billionaire Ivanishvili founded a new party, 'Georgia's dream - democratic Georgia' on April 2. The founding congress elected human rights activist and lawyer Manana Kobakhidze as the chairman of the party, as Ivanishvili cannot lead the party because he does not have Georgian citizenship.
Kobakhidze previously stated that the party may have some problems with registration.
