Meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Grigol Vashadze and Foreign Minister of Indonesia Marty Natalegawa was held in Jakarta (Indonesia).
The parties discussed a wide range of bilateral and multilateral relations, special attention was paid to cooperation in trade, economy, culture and tourism and issues of cooperation within international organizations, the Foreign Ministry of Georgia told Trend.
A memorandum of understanding between the foreign ministries of the two countries on bilateral consultation and agreement between the governments of Georgia and Indonesia on economic and technical cooperation were signed during the meeting.
A joint press conference was held after the signing ceremony.
During his visit to Indonesia, Grigol Vashadze met with Minister of Trade Gita Virdzhavan and Deputy Minister of Economy Rizal Afandi Lukman.
The sides discussed the current state of relations between the two countries in trade and economy and prospects for future cooperation.
