Georgia starts distribution of state insurance policies

Distribution of state insurance policies starts in Georgia.
From Sept.1, most of the public will be able to use these insurance policies, Georgian President's spokeswoman Manana Manjgaladze told reporters
She said the preparatory work in this direction continues.
"From Sept.1, about 600,000 pensioners, about 100,000 students will be able to use insurance policy, and it will be applied to children aged 0-6 years. This means that health care services will be accessible additionally to hundreds of thousands of our citizens. Almost a few days later the Ministry of Health will distribute policies for the part of the population that does not use the insurance," Manjgaladze said.
That part of the pensioners, who receive pension at "Liberty Bank", will receive the policy together with the pension. Those, who received pension at home, will receive the policy also at home. A similar service will be applied to disabled persons, who enjoy this form of service.
With regard to children and students, they will receive policies with the help of "Georgian Post".
Citizens registered in the occupied territories, who do not receive pension, will be able to get policies in any district service center of social service agencies.
