Georgian President is dissatisfied with insurance companies. Mikheil Saakashvili made this statement in Ozuregeti whilst visiting a new hospital belonging to the Aversi Company.

He said salaries of junior medical staff should be at least doubled.

"The funds should be redistributed ... In this regard, we assembled them several times... Salaries of junior medical staff should be at least doubled. I am deeply convinced of this. Some good surgeons in some clinics receive 7,000, 8,000 and 15,000 lari (1 dollar = 1.66 lari), and nurses near them receive a salary of 150 lari ... It is a very unfair distribution." Saakashvili said.
