The new Ambassador of Israel to Georgia Yuval Fuchs handed over copies of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze.
This was followed by a meeting at which the sides discussed prospects of bilateral relations and cooperation in international organisations.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry welcomed the decision of Israel to recognise a travel document, developed by Georgia to the occupied territories, about which the ambassador informed the Georgian side and handed over the relevant official note.
