Preventive vaccination against anthrax started in Georgia since September 1.
The head of the National Agency for Food noted that 672 private veterinarian were employed in the frame of the vaccination program. The vaccination is accompanied by identification of animals. Special license plate is attached to the ear of the animal and an appropriate number is assigned. Accurate data on animals will be placed in the electronic system of the agency after the completion of vaccination.
The vaccine, produced in France, which is harmless to health, will be used.
