A meeting between Georgian and Romanian presidents took place in Bucharest.
Mikheil Saakashvili and Traian Basescu discussed elections, held in Georgia, the presidential press-service reported.
According to Romanian president, the elections proved that Georgia is committed to democratic governance and will fight for strengthening of political security, stability and democratic processes.
Romanian president expressed his support to Georgia's integration to NATO and noted that democratic elections, held in Georgia on October1, will contribute to Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia.
Parliamentary elections were held in Georgia on October 1. Around 14 parties and two political blocs participated in the elections.
According to full the preliminary data of the Georgian Central Election Commission, the Georgian Dream coalition will receive 85 seats in the parliament, and the United National Movement, 65.
The leader of the Georgian Dream coalition has introduced new candidates for ministerial posts in the new Georgian government.
Ivanishvili himself will take the post of prime minister.
