Georgia, Tbilisi, Nov.6 / Trend N.Kirtskhalia /
An agreement on Georgia's comprehensive free trade with the EU is entering a new phase, the Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry of Georgia told Trend on Tuesday.
The decision was taken during a meeting of EU ambassadors to Georgia with Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
"During the meeting EU Ambassador to Georgia Philip Dimitrov and Georgian Economy Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili it was decided to create special groups from both sides to begin work in this regard," the ministry said.
According to Dimitrov, the meeting also discussed the ongoing projects and current issues associated with the development of small and medium businesses.
Three rounds of talks have been already held under the agreement on deep and comprehensive free trade between the Georgian side and the EU. The fourth round will be held in Brussels in late November.
