Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili met with the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Knut Vollebaek on Thursday.
According to Ivanishvili's press service, both sides discussed ways to resolve the problems of national minorities in Georgia.
Vollebaek briefed Ivanishvili with the projects which the OSCE implements for national minorities in Georgia.
Bidzina Ivanishvili expressed a readiness to continue cooperation within the on-going projects and updated the High Commissioner with the views of Georgia's new government to address the problems of ethnic minorities.
Vollebaek expressed satisfaction with the fact that the new Georgian authorities are ready to continue the policy of integration of national minorities into Georgian society and are ready to defend their rights.
