Georgian Interior Ministry General Inspection chief to be released on bail

The Tbilisi City Court will release chief of the General Inspection under the Interior Ministry Tengiz Gunava detained by the Prosecutor's Office on bail.
Lawyer of the senior official of the Interior Ministry Giorgi Oniani told media that he will be released on bail to the amount of 10,000 lari ($ 1 = 1.66 lari) after paying this amount.
The case was filed on two articles of the Georgian Criminal Code - the 236th article - illegal purchase, possession and carrying of weapons and the 260th article - illegal drug use.
Meanwhile, the defendant's lawyer said that weapons and drugs were placed stealthily.
