Negotiations on tariffs for electricity with the Russian company Inter RAO are underway and a statement will be made in the coming days, Georgian Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze said on Tuesday.
At this stage, experts are holding the last consultations regarding the memorandum, which will be published soon, Kaladze said after a meeting of the Georgian government.
"We will hold a briefing very soon, which is related to ratification of the memorandum. We will inform the population about the results of our work," Kaladze said.
He said that negotiations are underway with Inter RAO on an import contract, and results will be available very soon.
Kaladze did not give specific figures. He said Prime Minister of Georgia will soon get acquainted with the work carried out by a working group. Kaladze said that the situation on gas and fuel will soon become clear.
