The mandatory inspection of vehicles in Georgia has been postponed for a year. The norm will come into force on January 1, 2014.
The Georgian parliament adopted amendments to the law on road safety in a simplified format.
Under the bill, mandatory periodic testing of vehicles conducted on regular local and international transportation and that of dangerous goods, as well as vehicles with a load carrying capacity of over three tons will start from January 1, 2014.
