A delegation of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe will arrive in Georgia on Wednesday for a two-day visit.
As the Tbilisi Information Center of the CE told Trend, members of the technical delegation will meet with Minister of Justice, Supreme Court Chairman, Chairman of the Constitutional Court, representatives of bar associations and civil society.
The purpose of the visit is development of recommendations in connection with draft laws "On General Courts" and the law "On amnesty".
Earlier President of the Venice Commission, Gianni Buquicchio visited Georgia. After this visit, it was decided to suspend adoption of above-mentioned draft laws before the examination by Venice Commission members.
