Commander: Support of NATO of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia unchanged

Support of NATO of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia is unchanged, U.S. European Command, NATO's Supreme Allied Commander in Europe, James Stavridis said in Tbilisi on Wednesday on meeting with Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania.
"Support of NATO of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia remains unchanged. We are striving Georgia to Euro-Atlantic space. Also it is very important contribution that Georgia made to the ISAF. 15 countries are taking part in missions and Georgia, based on population, making the most great contribution, "- admiral said.
Admiral Stavridis thanked Georgian soldiers for their contribution to the mission in Afghanistan.
Minister of Defense of Georgia called fruitful his meeting with the U.S. European Command, NATO's Supreme Allied Commander in Europe, James Stavridis.
"It was a very fruitful meeting with Admiral. We talked about issues like partnership with NATO in general and bilateral relations", - Alasania said.
James Stavridis also met with Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili and see the Georgian military, who have been injured in Afghanistan.
