General Secretary of the "United National Movement", ex-Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili and governor of Kakheti, former Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs Zurab Tchiaberashvili were summoned for questioning on Tuesday.
As Tchiaberashvili told reporters, they have been summoned for questioning at the Imereti prosecutor's office in connection with an investigation regarding an accounting program for job seekers.
According to him, both he and Vano Merabishvili were summoned in February to Kutaisi for questioning on the matter and gave satisfactory answers to all of the questions.
Representatives of the parliamentary opposition consider such calls for questioning pressure, while the parliamentary majority calls it the "restoration of justice."
