FM: Similarity of Georgian-Azerbaijani priorities maintain stability in region

Azerbaijan and Georgia have similar priorities ensuring stability in the South Caucasus region, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said at a reception at the Georgian embassy in the U.S today.
"Azerbaijan and Georgia have extensive experience of joint cooperation," Mammadyarov told Georgian media today. "Our relations are being developed dynamically. This is observed in close economic and political relations."
Mammadyarov said that the frequent meetings with his Georgian counterpart allow the determination of prospects of the relations and resolve regional issues.
The Georgian embassy in the U.S organised a reception in honour of Independence Day of Georgia. U.S Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Eric Rubin and other senior State Department officials attended.
