Air force exercise completed in Georgia

The three-week summer exercises at Vaziani military base (near Tbilisi) ended Friday. On the last day of the exercises, Georgia's Defence Minister Irakli Alasania observed.
Six SU-25 aircrafts, two L-39, one Mi-24 and one UH-1H Iroquois helicopter participated in the exercises.
Today's exercises were held with all combat arms, Alasania said. According to him, such exercises are held separately in aviation, land forces, and then there will be held combined exercises. According to the minister's assessments, the exercises showed the high level of pilots' professional training and the use of arms by them hit the mark.
"We can consider the exercises as successful and I want to congratulate all of our military who participated in the exercises and wish them more success" Alasania said.
