Observers for the presidential election continue to arrive in Georgia. A delegation from the U.S Republican Institute (IRI) arrived in Georgia on Thursday morning.
Delegation head Richard Williamson told journalists at Tbilisi airport that IRI actively cooperated with Georgia after the 'Rose Revolution' in 2003.
"This election should be fair, free and honest and we are here to be convinced," he stressed.
The 10-strong delegation will observe the presidential election of October 27 and it will present its conclusion at a briefing on October 28.
Delegations from PACE and OSCE are also expected to arrive today.
