By Nana Kirtzkhalia -Trend: Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has been invited to an inauguration ceremony of newly elected President Giorgi Margvelashvili, to be held on November 17.

As the administration of the President of Georgia reported on Nov.14, the invitation to the inauguration ceremony was delivered yesterday.

It is unknown yet whether Saakashvili will attend the inauguration. Currently, he is on a visit in Brussels and holding meetings with deputies of the European Parliament.

As the head of the administration of the president of Georgia, Andro Barnov said, the presence of Saakashvili at the inauguration depends on the attitude of the new government to the institution of the presidency.

Former Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze is also invited to the ceremony.
