By Nana Kirtzkhalia - Trend: The verdict on former Defense Minister, Bacho Akhalaia's case will be given by the appeal court on December 4.
On November 25 the sides made closing remarks, after which the last word has been given to Akhalia himself and seven other persons accused within the same case.
The case includes a prison riot, on which the city court sentenced Bacho Akhalaia to five years in prison, but under the amnesty, the period was reduced to three years and nine months. However, immediately after imposing the sentence the former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili pardoned Akhalia.
