New chief prosecutor will be appointed in Georgia, the government press service said.
The Georgian Prime Minister's press service denied media reports about the possible changes in the government.
According to the special statement of the press service, no changes are planned in the Cabinet of Ministers in the near future.
"Despite some media reports about the possible changes in the Georgian government, we are authorized to state that in the near future Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili intends to make only one new appointment, that is the country's new chief prosecutor," the statement said.
The statement stressed readiness to cooperate with the media in providing accurate information. "All reports about allegedly preparing changes in the government at this stage do not correspond to reality," the Georgian Prime Minister's press service.
