Tbilisi will host the first round of negotiations on the association agreement between Georgia and EU on Jan.23. Such meetings are aimed at preparing the signing of the agreement that will take place in the summer of 2014.
The agenda of association is to come into force between Georgia and the EU which will replace the annual Georgian-EU action programme.
From the Georgian side Deputy Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili and from the EU side the representative of the European External Action Service, Dirk Schuebel will participate in the first round.
