The Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili met with the European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule, in Brussels on Feb. 3.
Georgian Foreign Minister, Maia Panjikidze told journalists that during the meeting it was decided that Stefan Fule will visit Georgia on March 3-4.
Panjikidze said that Fule intends to take part in a conference in Batumi.
Aside from that it is scheduled to hold a conference dedicated to the convergence of Georgia and the EU, and also there will be a preparatory procedure for countries signing an association agreement.
During their meeting Irakli Garibashvili and Stefan Fule discussed internal processes developing in Georgia, the ongoing reforms and the European integration process.
The EU's support for Georgia was once again stressed and a hope was expressed that the signing of the association agreement will take place no later than August, 2014.
