The progress and the next actions as part of the visa dialogue between Georgia and the EU were discussed during the meeting Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and EU Home Affairs Commissioner Cecilia Malmström in Brussels, the Georgian Prime Minister told Trend on Feb. 4.

The meeting was held as part of Georgian Prime Minister's visit to Brussels.

"The implementation of the action plan on visa regime liberalization between Georgia and the EU was discussed during the meeting," the press-service reported. Georgian Prime Minister thanked the European Commissioner for the support rendered to the country.

"The relevant committee will be updated with the information on the fulfillment of the Georgian side's commitments in this area," she said.
