Georgian president observes military exercises

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Defense Minister Irakli Alasania and Security Council Secretary Irina Imerlishvili observed the exercises at a military base in Vaziani on March 13.
The exercises were held at the base as part of the first phase of special training for the servicemen of the special forces.
Chief of the Georgian Armed Forces General Staff, Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze informed the supreme commander about the exercises. The Georgian president then visited the classrooms and facilities, the presidential administration told Trend.
President Margvelashvili also attended the demonstration exercises, which involved more than 50 servicemen.
He expressed satisfaction with the level of training of the special forces, stressing that the Georgians are proud of the servicemen.
