Tbilisi to host international conference on economic integration with EU

An international conference entitled 'Economic integration with the European Union - Prospects and Opportunities' will be held on March 27-28 in Georgia at the Expo Georgia exhibition centre.
The event is co-sponsored by the departments of the State Minister for Integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
Representatives from the executive and legislative authorities, senior representatives of EU member states and participating countries of the Eastern Partnership programme, international financial institutions, business circles and NGOs will participate at the conference to be opened by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
The conference will focus on an exchange of experiences between the countries, a comprehensive trading area with the European Union, the investment environment in Georgia, the main economic areas after the Vilnius summit, execution of business contracts and the strengthening of regional cooperation.
