OSCE observation mission has received an invitation from Georgia to the municipal elections, but it had to reject the proposal due to the financial problems in the organization, OSCE's official letter said.
OSCE member states failed to agree on the 2014 budget and for this reason, the organization's opportunities are limited, the organization explained.
"If the budget is approved soon, the organization will reconsider the issue of sending a monitoring mission to Georgia, the official letter of OSCE sent to the Rustavi -2 TV channel said.
The municipal elections in Georgia will be held on June 15.
