Georgia’s ex-ambassador to Russia found dead
Ex-ambassador of Georgia to Russia and the former owner of the Rustavi-2 TV company, Erosi Kitsmarishvili has been found dead in Tbilisi.
Kitsmarishvili's body has been found near his house, Georgian Interior Ministry told Trend on July 15.
A firearm was found next to the body.
The country's Interior Ministry said that Kitsmarishvili had committed suicide. A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of suicide.
No other details have been provided by the Interior Ministry.
The relatives and friends of the ex-ambassador rule out the version of suicide and claim that he has been killed.
Kitsmarishvili was running for the post of Rustavi mayor, but came in the third place for the number of gathered votes.
