Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili met Oct.22 with the Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe, General Philip Breedlove.
Implementation of the package Georgia received at the Welsh NATO summit was one of the topics of discussion, according to the press service of the government of Georgia.
The prime minister stressed the importance of this package. He said that Georgia appreciates the unwavering support of the country's Euro-Atlantic aspirations by the United States. The visit of the U.S. secretary of defense to Georgia was evidence of it.
The parties also discussed Georgia's participation in ISAF and in "mission of critical support."
Breedlove thanked the prime minister for Georgia's contribution to international missions.
The meeting was also attended by the defense minister Irakli Alasania, interior minister Alexander Chikaidze, justice minister Tea Tsulukiani, the first deputy foreign minister Davit Zalkaliani, head of the general staff Vakhtang Kapanadze and the security council and crisis management secretary Mindia Janelidze.
