Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili opened the Tbilisoba festival dedicated to the Tbilisi City Day on Oct.25.

He addressed the citizens from the foyer of the renovated historical building of Sakrebulo (city council) of Tbilisi.

"Tbilisoba is not only a festival of Tbilisi residents, but also of the whole Georgia and we hope that it will be celebrated at the regional level as well," the prime minister said.

Garibashvili said that numerous events will be held in Tbilisi within two days of the festival.

The ceremony of opening of the renovated Sakrebulo building on the Freedom Square in Tbilisi was attended by the government members, MPs of Georgia, as well as representatives of international organizations and the diplomatic corps.
