Georgian defense minister visits military base in Germany

Georgia's Defense Minister Irakli Alasania was at the Wildflecken military base during his official visit to Germany.
He met there with the Georgian soldiers, who are undergoing training before being dispatched to Afghanistan, where NATO is conducting its military mission.
Alasania addressed the Georgian troops and thanked them for contribution to the state affair.
"The missions that you will soon start executing are important for the security of our country," the minister said. "The joint operation once again shows that our country is becoming increasingly important with your help."
He went on to add that the equipment possessed by the Georgian military will help them to successfully carry out the mission and return home.
