Former Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania confirmed his meeting with the former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili. The meeting was held at Ivanishvili's business center in Tbilisi, Alasania told reporters Nov.7.

"We had a long talk on many topics, which mainly focused on the situation in the country," he said.

The former defense minister said that the only thing they managed to agree was "not to act to the detriment of the state."

"I reported on the outcome of talks to my associates in general terms," he said.

At present, Alasania meets with Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Davit Usupashvili.

It should be recalled that on November 4 after the meeting of the political council of the Georgian Dream block, the Premier Irakli Garibashvili made a statement that he dismissed the Defense Minister Irakli Alasania.
