NATO to help Georgia train cybersecurity experts

The cybersecurity trainings were held in the professional development center of the Georgian defense ministry on Dec. 17.

Their goal is to intensify the cooperation on cybersecurity between governmental and non-governmental organizations.

The training sessions were opened by the first deputy minister of defense Gocha Ratiani, director of the cybersecurity bureau Andria Gotsiridze and representative of the NATO Liaison Office Svein Amundsen.

They stressed the importance of developing the cybersecurity in Georgia and coordinating the state and non-governmental organizations' actions in this area.

The training sessions were held on the initiative of the cybersecurity bureau and professional development center under the Defense Ministry with the support of the NATO-Georgia professional development program.
