Some 16 villages of Mestia region (Svaneti region, Western Georgia) are cut off from the outside world due to heavy snowfall.
The snow depth reached 1.5 meters.
Power lines were damaged, the most part of the population of Mestia region remained without electricity.
The movement of vehicles stopped in the direction of Ushguli, according to the information.
Regarding the Zugdidi-Mestia road, the movement in this direction is free.
