Gasoline prices in Georgia, amid rising oil prices on global stock exchanges, have increased by an average of 4.7 percent over September 2021, Trend reports via Georgian media.
The latest statistics say that the price of Brent crude oil has exceeded $84 per barrel.
The price of RON-92 gasoline increased by 1.8 percent and amounted to 2.8 Georgian lari (89 cents) per liter.
The price of RON-98 gasoline increased by 4.9 percent and the average price was about 3.1 Georgian lari (99 cents) per liter.
The price of RON-95 gasoline increased by 4.1 percent and its average market price became 3.17 Georgian lari ($1,01) per liter.
The price for diesel fuel increased by 5 percent and the average price for one liter was 2.89 Georgian lari (92 cents).
The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased by 7.5 percent and the average price was 1.9 Georgian lari ($60 cents).
The average increase in gasoline prices in Georgia was about 46 percent over the past year.
