Georgia reported 2,195 coronavirus cases, 4,319 recoveries, and 47 deaths on December 19, the official figures show, Trend reports citing 1tv.ge.
33,813 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 20,095 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 13,718 were PCR tests.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1,032 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 380 cases and the Adjara region with 149 cases.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 6.49%, while 6.48% in the past week.
Currently, out of 1,426 critical patients, 319 require mechanical ventilation.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 909,160, among them, 858,949 people recovered and 13,071 died.
