Georgia’s trade turnover with Kazakhstan from January through November 2021 amounted to $102.5 million, which is an increase of 32.7 percent, compared to $77.2 million over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
Georgia’s imports from Kazakhstan over first 11 months of 2021 amounted $17.9 million, which is a decrease of 81.5 percent, compared to $32.5 million worth of imports over the same period of 2020.
TOP-5 exported commodities from Kazakhstan to Georgia (Jan. through Nov. 2021):
Industrial supplies – $5.1 million;
Consumer goods – $4.4 million;
Fuels and lubricants – $2.9 million;
Food and beverages – $2.4 million;
Capital goods – $1.5 million.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s total imports from January through November 2021 amounted to $8.9 billion, which is an increase of 24.5 percent, compared to $7.2 billion over the reporting period of 2020.
