Georgia’s exports of ferro-alloys from January through November 2021 amounted to $414.7 million, which is an increase of 79.1 percent, compared to $231.5 million over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The volume of the exported ferro-alloys over the reporting period of 2021 also increased by 15.4 percent – from 234,302 to 270,568 tons.
Thus, the share of ferro-alloys in total Georgia’s exports over first 11 months of 2021 accounted for 10.8 percent (7.7 percent over the reporting period of 2020).
TOP-5 importers of ferro-alloys from Georgia (Jan. through Nov. 2021):
Russia – $157 million;
the US – $134.6 million;
Turkey – $46.2 million;
Canada – $10.4 million;
Italy – $8.6 million.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s total exports from January through November 2021 amounted to $3.8 billion – an increase of 26.7 percent, compared to $3.01 billion in the same period of 2020.
